HOLY IN SPIRIT
Scripture
John 3:14–18 - “Just as Moses lifted up the snake in the wilderness, so the Son of Man must be lifted up, so that everyone who believes in Him may have eternal life. For God loved the world in this way: He gave His One and Only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send His Son into the world that He might condemn the world, but that the world might be saved through Him. Anyone who believes in Him is not condemned, but anyone who does not believe is already condemned, because he has not believed in the name of the One and Only Son of God.”
Mark 9:24 - “I do believe! Help my unbelief.”
Slow Read (Sit With the Text)
Read John 3:14–18 slowly, twice.
First reading: Notice how many times the word believe appears.
Second reading: Notice what belief is contrasted with—condemnation, not confusion.
Now sit quietly and repeat: “So that everyone who believes in Him…”
Let the simplicity of the gospel confront your complexity.
Heart Questions
Where do I believe in Jesus—but still cling to unbelief?
What experiences, pain, or disappointment have shaped my hesitation?
Am I willing to surrender not just my sin, but my doubts?
Let honesty replace performance.
Spiritual Insight
Nicodemus asks “How?” Jesus answers with “Believe.”

Belief is not: |
Belief is: |

Eternal life is not a reward for understanding. It is a gift received by belief.
Prayer
Jesus, I confess that I often complicate what You made simple. I believe—but I also struggle.
Today, I bring You both. My faith and my fear. My trust and my hesitation. I release my unbelief into Your hands. I receive the life You freely give. I believe—help my unbelief.
Amen.
WHOLE IN MIND
Name the Resistance
Take 2–3 minutes and answer honestly:
“What doubt or fear do I need to surrender to Jesus today?”
You don’t conquer unbelief by force. You surrender it by faith.
HEALTHY IN BODY
The Reset Posture
Pause once today for 5 intentional minutes.
Stand or sit still.
Place one hand over your heart.
Breathe slowly.
With each inhale, pray: “I believe.”
With each exhale, pray: “Help my unbelief.”
Let your breathing become prayer.
Closing Posture
Nicodemus did not respond immediately. Neither do most of us. But belief, once planted, grows. And when the Son of Man was lifted up, belief became life.
