I am so excited that you are considering Kairos Church as your church. I wanted to share a little bit about myself as you make that decision. I have been in ministry for over 15 years. I started as a creative director and youth pastor at a church plant in my home town. After 9+ years at that church, God called my wife and I to plant Kairos Church in 2017.
I have a deep passion for God's word and an even deeper passion to help others grab a hold of it as they learn to embrace Jesus in every moment of their life. I am a creative at heart and love to use my creativity to share Jesus with people in any capacity. While I am very serious about preaching God's word, I am a bit of a goofball, so I love to have fun with it.
Along with being church planters, and pastoring, my wife and I are also foster parents. We have 6 forever kids and at any given time we may also have 2-3 foster children in our care. We are very passionate about foster care and that is woven into the DNA of our church.
Few quick things that you must know: You will rarely find me without my hat on. You will always find me with an iced coffee in my hand. There is a 90% chance a conversation with me will be interrupted by one of 6...or more kids (I am a foster parent). My wife, Christine, is much better looking and younger-looking than me and I am aware of that. Lastly, I am not as old as the gray in my beard showcases.
We understand that without prayer leading us, our human desires may end up getting in the way and failing us. Every worship experience, every decision, every ministry, and event will be lead with fervent prayer. Video
We will challenge each other to daily seek God’s guidance through scripture, and then apply it to our lives.
We will praise God for all He has done and look forward to all that He has yet to do. We will never stop shouting & sharing about all that God is doing in our lives and in our church.
We will do anything short of sin to engage those who have not-yet embraced Jesus Christ in our communities.
We will never lose sight of equipping one another through prayer, worship, scripture, accountability, groups, serving and more. We will encourage one another to continue taking next steps in our walk with Christ and in our leadership. Video
We will do our part to provide help, hope, and love for orphans and those advocating for them.
