Beliefs

What we believe.

We believe the entire Bible—Old Testament and New Testament—is the inspired Word of God and that men were moved by the Spirit of God to write the very words of Scripture. Therefore, we believe the Bible is without error.

We believe in one God who exists in three distinct persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God who became flesh to reveal God to humanity and to become the Savior of the lost world.

We believe that all people were created in the image of God to have fellowship with Him, but turned their back on God through sinful disobedience. As a result, people are incapable of regaining a right relationship with God through their own efforts.

We believe that the blood of Jesus Christ, shed on the cross, provides the sole basis for the forgiveness of sin. Therefore, God freely offers salvation to those who place their faith in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ as sufficient payment for their sin.

We believe all Christians should live for Christ and not for themselves. By obedience to the Word of God and daily yielding to the Spirit of God, every believer should mature and be conformed to the image of Christ. Every Christ-follower has Christian duties to honor God and serve others.

We believe that the Church is the body of Christ, of which Jesus Christ is the head. The Church consists of those who have trusted, by faith, in the finished work of Christ. The purpose of the Church is to glorify God by loving him and by making him known to the lost world.  The Church has set aside the first day of the week to worship God and serve others.

We believe in the personal return of Jesus Christ, and in the bodily resurrection of the dead. We believe that God will judge all mankind and everyone will spend eternity in either heaven or hell.

Marriage has been instituted by God and is described in the Bible. We define marriage as the exclusive covenantal union of one man and one woman in which such union is a lifetime commitment. A civil government’s sanction of a union will be recognized as a legitimate marriage by the church only to the extent that it is consistent with this definition of marriage. Legitimate sexual relations are exercised solely within marriage.  Hence, sexual activities outside of marriage, including but not limited to adultery, premarital sex, homosexuality and pedophilia, are inconsistent with the teachings of the Bible and the church. VALUES

What we stand for.

We understand that without prayer leading us, our human desires may end up getting in the way and failing us. Every worship experience, every decision, every ministry, and event will be lead with fervent prayer. Video

We will praise God for all He has done and look forward to all that He has yet to do. We will never stop shouting & sharing about all that God is doing in our lives and in our church.

We will challenge each other to daily seek God’s guidance through scripture, and to then apply it to our lives.

We will get uncomfortable. We will go into the unknown. We will be bold and daring when it comes to advancing the gospel of Jesus Christ. – Video

We will do anything short of sin to engage those who have not-yet embraced Jesus Christ in our communities.

We will never lose sight of equipping one another through prayer, worship, scripture, accountability, groups, serving and more. We will encourage one another to continue taking next steps in our walk with Christ and in our leadership. Video

We will shape the future by teaching our children the importance of embracing Jesus.
We will raise up new leaders to strengthen and maintain our church and to plant future churches. Video: Part 1Part 2

We will do our part to provide help, hope, and love for orphans and those advocating for them.

We will support and defend the vision and mission of our church. We will stand shoulder-to-shoulder with those God has chosen to lead it. – Video
