Sermon Qoute: "God doesn't simply include women in His plan of redemption... they are crucial to it."
Devotional Thought:
From the Garden of Eden to the empty tomb, women have played an irreplaceable role in God’s redemptive plan. Eve was called the “mother of all the living.” A midwife’s courage rescued a generation. A mother’s surrender launched a deliverer. A sister’s watchfulness restored a child to his family. An adoptive daughter of Pharaoh protected a future leader. A wife stepped in to preserve a calling. And centuries later, women would once again carry, announce, anoint, and witness the Savior of the world.
These aren’t isolated stories. They are signs—patterns of God working through women to bring life, protection, and purpose into the world.
And here’s the truth: that calling didn’t end with them.
Whether you’re a biological mother, a foster parent, a spiritual mentor, or a friend—God is still using you to nurture life. You may be carrying a child, a vision, a relationship, or a ministry. But what you carry matters. And how you care for it matters even more.
You were created not just to live—but to carry. Not just to support—but to shape. Not just to love—but to help lead people into their purpose.
Reflection Question:
What has God entrusted to you right now? Who are you being called to love, care for, or protect in this season?
Prayer:
Father, thank You for the legacy of godly women who carried Your purpose forward. Thank You for trusting us with life—whether physical, spiritual, or relational. Show me what You’ve placed in my hands. Remind me that my role matters. And help me walk faithfully in it. In Jesus’ name, amen.
