Scripture: Acts 28:7-10 Now in the area around that place was an estate belonging to the leading man of the island, named Publius, who welcomed us and entertained us hospitably for three days. 8 Publius’s father was in bed suffering from fever and dysentery. Paul went to him, and praying and laying his hands on him, he healed him. 9 After this, the rest of those on the island who had diseases also came and were cured.

Sermon Quote:
"GOD HAS A PURPOSE OR CAN RE-PURPOSE THE STORMS, SHIPWRECKS AND SNAKE BITES WE ENDURE."

Devotional:
Storms, shipwrecks, and snake bites, though challenging, can serve a greater purpose in our lives. Paul's journey, filled with trials, led to unexpected opportunities for healing and ministry on the island of Malta. Similarly, God can use the storms you face to teach you, the shipwrecks to redirect you, and the snake bites to strengthen you. Reflect on the ways God has used your past challenges for His purpose. Consider the opportunities for healing, growth, and ministry that may arise from the storms in your life. Trust that, just as Paul's journey brought him to Malta, God has a purpose for every twist and turn in your path.

Reflection Questions:
How have you seen God use past storms, shipwrecks, or challenges for a greater purpose in your life?

Are you currently facing challenges that might serve a greater purpose in the future?

In what ways can you be open to opportunities for healing, growth, and ministry in the midst of your current circumstances?

Prayer:
Gracious God, open my eyes to Your greater purpose in the storms I face. Help me see the opportunities for healing, growth, and ministry that may arise from the challenges in my life. May Your purpose be fulfilled in every twist and turn of my journey. Amen.
