HOLY IN SPIRIT
John 5:25 - “I assure you: An hour is coming, and is now here, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who hear will live.”
Ezekiel 37:4–5 - “Then He said to me, ‘Prophesy concerning these bones and say to them: Dry bones, hear the word of the Lord! This is what the Lord God says to these bones: I will cause breath to enter you, and you will live.’”
Slow Read
Read John 5:25 three times, slowly.
First reading: Notice who is speaking and who is hearing.
Second reading: Notice the promise attached to hearing—life.
Third reading: Sit with this phrase: “Those who hear will live.”
Remain silent for one full minute.
Heart Questions
Where do I feel spiritually numb, tired, or disconnected?
What part of my life feels lifeless or dormant right now?
Do I believe Jesus’ voice still has power to awaken what feels dead?
Let the Spirit stir hope, not pressure.
Spiritual Insight
Jesus does not say: “Those who understand will live”. “Those who improve themselves will live” .
He says: “Those who hear will live.”
Life does not begin with effort. It begins with response. The same voice that called creation into existence calls dead hearts into life.
Prayer
Jesus, I confess that there are places in me that feel dry and quiet. Places where I’ve stopped expecting change. Today, I bring those places to You. Speak where I feel lifeless. Call me out of stillness and into obedience. I believe Your voice carries life. Awaken what has grown silent in me. Amen.
WHOLE IN MIND
Name the Loudest Voice
Take 2–3 minutes and ask honestly:
“Where have I stopped expecting God to speak or move?”
Hope often fades quietly.
HEALTHY IN BODY
The Acted Response
Once today, take 5–10 intentional minutes to physically act on something you’ve heard.
1. Listen
Ask:“What is one small thing God may be prompting me to do today?”
2. Act
Take one tangible step in obedience.
3. Name It
Afterward, say: “I heard, and I obeyed.”
Closing Posture
Jesus’ voice does not just inform. It resurrects. If He is speaking, life is possible.
