REMINDER #10 – GOD PROVIDES WHEN YOU WALK IN OBEDIENCE

Read Scripture: Genesis 22:7–14

(As Abraham and Isaac go up the mountain, Isaac asks where the lamb is. Abraham responds, “God will provide.” At the moment of obedience, God stops Abraham and provides a ram in Isaac’s place.)

Reality: God’s provision is often found on the other side of obedience. Abraham didn’t see the provision at the start of the journey—he experienced it in the middle of surrender. The wilderness will test whether you trust God enough to obey before you see how He will provide. God didn’t fail Abraham. And He won’t fail you. But His provision is often revealed as you walk, not before you start.

Response:

  • Where are you waiting to see provision before you obey?

  • What step of obedience have you been delaying?

  • Do you trust God to provide—even if you don’t see how yet?

Reaction:

Take the step of obedience you’ve been delaying.

Trust God with what you cannot see or control.

Move forward without demanding answers first.

Expect God to meet you in your obedience.

Reinforcement: Philippians 4:19 – “And my God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.”

GOD PROVIDES WHAT YOU NEED—NOT ALWAYS WHAT YOU EXPECT.

2x2 Check:

Tell your 2x2 what step of obedience you are taking—and trust God to meet you in it.
