Throughout Scripture, the wilderness is more than a place—it’s a season. It’s where faith is tested, identity is formed, and God prepares His people for what comes next.
From Adam being sent out of Eden, to Abraham’s journey of faith, to Moses’ years in the desert, to David hiding in caves, the wilderness appears again and again in the story of God’s people. Sometimes we enter the wilderness because of our own sin. Sometimes it’s the result of the brokenness around us. And sometimes the Spirit leads us there for a purpose we can’t yet see.
But the wilderness is never where God abandons His people—it’s often where He does His greatest work.
In this series, we’ll explore how God meets us in life’s wild places, shaping us, strengthening us, and preparing us for His promises. Ultimately, we’ll see how Jesus entered the wilderness Himself, overcoming temptation and beginning the mission that would lead to the cross and resurrection—making a way for us to move from wandering to restoration.
