Scripture:
Jude 17-18 -  “In the end time there will be scoffers walking according to their own ungodly desires.” 19 These people create divisions and are unbelievers, not having the Spirit.

2 Peter 3:3 - First, be aware of this: Scoffers will come in the last days to scoff, living according to their own desires.

Devotional:
In our study, Jude draws attention to the predictions of the apostles regarding scoffers in the end times. These scoffers, driven by ungodly desires, create divisions and promote unbelief (Jude 17-18). Peter reiterates this warning, highlighting the presence of scoffers living according to their own desires in the last days (2 Peter 3:3).

Just as flags and symbols carry different meanings for people, the symbols in our series, "Don't Tread on Thee," hold significance. Reflect on how these symbols, like the Gadsden Flag, were initially meant to represent unity and independence but have been distorted through misuse.

Daily Challenge:
Reflect on a symbol or flag that holds personal significance to you. Consider sharing its positive meaning with someone who may have a different perspective on it.

Prayer:
Lord, open our eyes to recognize the symbols of contention in our lives and culture. Help us discern between unity and division, standing firm in the truth of Your Word. Amen.
