Scripture
Ezekiel 34:11–12, 15
“For this is what the Lord God says: See, I Myself will search for My flock and look for them… I will gather them… I will shepherd them.”
Reflection
Before Christmas becomes busy, it must first become holy.
The story of Jesus begins with a God who pursues His people. He searches, gathers, rescues, and cares. Christmas reminds us that God didn’t wait for us to find Him — He came to find us.
Moments with God don’t require perfection or long stretches of time. They require attention. When we pause to worship, read Scripture, pray, or sit quietly in His presence, we’re stepping into moments that anchor everything else.
The birth of Jesus invites us to remember the larger story — a God who draws near, who gathers His people, and who brings peace to wandering hearts.
Application
Today, intentionally create a moment with God.

Prayer
Father, thank You for being a God who gathers and shepherds His people. Help me slow down and spend time with You. As I pray for the names on my wish list, draw them close to You. Let my moments with You shape my heart, my words, and my actions this Christmas. Amen.
