SHARE YOUR 41 STORY (Cardboard Testimony)
Throughout this series, we’ve been talking about the journey from 40 to 41 from waiting, struggle, and uncertainty, to what God has done, is doing, and is still unfolding.
Now we want to see those stories.
For the final week, we’re creating a powerful moment in service using Cardboard 41 Stories; real people, real stories, held up for others to read and be encouraged.
If God has brought you through a “40” into a “41,” we’d love for you to be part of it.
How It Works
You’ll submit two short statements:
Side A (Your “40”): What season did you walk through?
(struggle, waiting, pain, doubt, hardship)
Side B (Your “41”): What has God done?
(healing, growth, provision, faith, restoration, ongoing work)
On Sunday May 24th, during the last song of service, you’ll walk up to center stage, show (side A) and flip to (side B), and let your story speak.
After you will move to stand somewhere else on stage with Side B still showing while others share their 41 Stories.
Example 41 Story
| Side A: | “Battling fear and constantly doubting my worth”
| Side B: | “Now I’m learning confidence and truth through Jesus”
| Side A: | “Addiction controlled my life and relationships”
| Side B: | “Jesus set me free and is restoring my life”
| Side A: | “My marriage was broken and falling apart”
| Side B: | “God is healing and rebuilding our relationship”
*A Few Notes for better submissions:
- Keep each side short (5–12 words ideally)
- Avoid overly detailed explanations
- Clarity > Cleverness
- Present tense is powerful on Side B (“God is…”, not just “God did…”)
