Welcome to the first day of our devotional series based on Wayfinding Episode 3 - Relationships of Grace. Today, let's explore the concept of being a catalyst for change in the lives of those around us.

Scripture:

Acts 9:15-18 - "But the Lord said to him, “Go! For this man is My chosen instrument to take My name to Gentiles, kings, and the Israelites. 16 I will show him how much he must suffer for My name!” 17 So Ananias left and entered the house. Then he placed his hands on him and said, “Brother Saul, the Lord Jesus, who appeared to you on the road you were traveling, has sent me so that you can regain your sight and be filled with the Holy Spirit.”18 At once something like scales fell from his eyes, and he regained his sight. Then he got up and was baptized."

God uses people as catalysts for change in the lives of others. As followers of Jesus, we have the power to influence others positively and guide them toward the way of the Lord.

From the Sermon:

"On every voyage we take, there are people guiding us along the way… Some help us go the right direction, some take us in the wrong direction, others keep us grounded, going no direction. Some challenge our current direction…"

Take a moment to reflect on the people who have been catalysts for positive change in your life. How did their influence help you navigate the right direction? How can you be a catalyst for change in someone else's life?

Scripture Meditation:

Read Acts 9:15-18 again and consider the role Ananias played as a catalyst for change in Saul's life.

Reflection Questions:

Who has been a catalyst for positive change in your life?

How can you actively be a positive influence on someone else's journey?

Closing Prayer:

Dear Lord, thank You for the people who have been catalysts for positive change in our lives. Help us, in turn, to be positive influences on those around us. Guide us in sharing Your love and truth with others. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
