Scripture:
1 Samuel 1:10-11 -Deeply hurt, Hannah prayed to the Lord and wept with many tears. 11 Making a vow, she pleaded, “Lord of Hosts, if You will take notice of Your servant’s affliction, remember and not forget me, and give Your servant a son, I will give him to the Lord all the days of his life, and his hair will never be cut.”

Reflection
When Hannah, deeply distressed, prayed for a child, she called upon Yahweh Tseva'oth. Her use of this specific name—Lord of Hosts—illustrates her belief in God's supreme power over all heavenly armies, capable of intervening in our deepest personal crises.

Devotional:
Yahweh Tseva'oth is not just a title; it signifies our God as a leader of an immense army, ready to assist us in our battles. When Hannah appealed to Yahweh Tseva'oth, she recognized God's vast sovereignty and power, entrusting her deep personal pain into His capable hands. Like Hannah, when we face our own "barren" situations—those times when hope seems lost—we too can call on Yahweh Tseva'oth, knowing He hears and responds with all the might of His heavenly hosts.

Reflection Questions:
What personal crisis are you trusting God with today?
How does understanding God as Yahweh Tseva'oth change your perspective on the battles you face?

Prayer:
Lord of Hosts, remind me that You are sovereign over all challenges. Help me to entrust my deepest needs to Your mighty power. Amen.
