Genesis 2:16 - 16 And the Lord God commanded the man... 17 you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for on the day you eat from it, you will certainly die.”
Genesis 3:3 - God said, ‘You must not eat it or touch it, or you will die.’ ”
WILL WE CHOOSE TO OBEY OUR FLESH & DESIRES OR OBEY GOD'S WILL & WORD?
Exodus 2:16-22 -16 Now the priest of Midian had seven daughters. They came to draw water and filled the troughs to water their father’s flock. 17 Then some shepherds arrived and drove them away, but Moses came to their rescue and watered their flock. 18 When they returned to their father Reuel he asked, “Why have you come back so quickly today?” 19 They answered, “An Egyptian rescued us from the shepherds. He even drew water for us and watered the flock.” 20 “So where is he?” he asked his daughters. “Why then did you leave the man behind? Invite him to eat dinner.” 21 Moses agreed to stay with the man, and he gave his daughter Zipporah to Moses in marriage. 22 She gave birth to a son whom he named Gershom.
Exodus 4:24-25 - On the trip, at an overnight campsite, it happened that the Lord confronted him and sought to put him to death. 25 So Zipporah took a flint, cut off her son’s foreskin, and threw it at Moses’ feet. Then she said, “You are a bridegroom of blood to me!” 26 So He let him alone.

JUST AS WE HAVE EQUALITY IN MARITAL ROLES, WE HAVE EQUALITY IN MARITAL SINS.
MEN FAIL OFTEN AT LOVING & LEADING THEIR WIFE LIKE CHRIST.
WOMAN FAIL OFTEN AT SUBMITTING & RESPECTING THEIR HUSBAND LIKE CHRIST.
SIN HAPPENS EMOTIONALLY (HEART) & MENTALLY (MIND) BEFORE IT HAPPENS PHYSICALLY (FLESH).
Matthew 5:27 - “You have heard that it was said, Do not commit adultery. 28 But I tell you, everyone who looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.
Deuteronomy 30:6,8-10 - The Lord your God will circumcise your heart and the hearts of your descendants, and you will love Him with all your heart and all your soul so that you will live.
8 Then you will again obey Him and follow all His commands I am giving you today. 9 The Lord your God will make you prosper abundantly in all the work of your hands with children, the offspring of your livestock, and your land’s produce. Indeed, the Lord will again delight in your prosperity, as He delighted in that of your fathers, 10 when you obey the Lord your God by keeping His commands and statutes that are written in this book of the law and return to Him with all your heart and all your soul.
OFTEN WE DISREGARD BIBLICAL COMMUNITY BECAUSE WE ARE AFRAID OF HAVING OUR INDIVIDUAL OR MARITAL SINS EXPOSED.
