HOLY IN SPIRIT
Scripture
Luke 22:31–32 — “Simon, Simon, look out! Satan has asked to sift you like wheat. But I have prayed for you that your faith may not fail. And you, when you have turned back, strengthen your brothers.”
Acts 2:41 — “So those who accepted his message were baptized, and that day about three thousand people were added to them.”
Slow Read (Restored to Strengthen)
Read Luke 22:31–32 three times slowly.
Remain silent for one full minute. Let calling replace condemnation.
Heart Questions
Let the Spirit reframe your story.
Spiritual Insight
Jesus never wasted Peter’s failure. The sifting was real—but so was restoration. Peter’s denial did not disqualify him; it prepared him. The man who once collapsed under pressure would later stand boldly before crowds and opposition, strengthening thousands. Discipleship is rarely born from perfection—it grows from grace experienced personally. God often uses healed wounds to help heal others. The assurance here is that spiritual maturity is not measured by never falling, but by returning and helping others stand. What Jesus restores in you becomes nourishment for someone else.
Prayer
Father,
Thank You for not abandoning me in seasons of weakness.
You have sustained my faith even when I struggled to hold onto You.
Help me see how You have strengthened me so I may strengthen others.
Use my story, my growth, and even my failures to encourage someone walking behind me.
Make me willing to pour out what You have poured into me.
Amen.
