Emotional Struggles -
- Anxiety, depression, burnout, emotional fatigue.
- Mental strain from parenting, caregiving, or work.
- “I’m exhausted,” “ready to give up,” “struggling to hold it together,”

Spiritual Fatigue -
- People asking for conviction, focus, and renewal in their walk with God.
- Spiritual drift, distraction, or feeling disconnected from church life.
- Many expressed gratitude for Kairos as a spiritual anchor.

Relational Isolation -
- People craving connection — “missing sisterhood,” “wanting community,” “needing fellowship.”
- Youth and adults alike feeling unseen or disconnected at times.
- Some praise Kairos for being their family, while others quietly ache for deeper connection.

TO CONTINUALLY COMBAT STRUGGLE, FATIGUE, AND ISOLATION WE NEED DAILY DOSES OF SUPPORT, ENCOURAGEMENT, AND CONNECTION.

THE STRUGGLE CARAVAN – PAUL, BARNABAS & JOHN MARK
Acts 12:25 - 25 After they had completed their relief mission, Barnabas and Saul returned to Jerusalem, taking along John who is called Mark.

Acts 13:4-5 - 4 Being sent out by the Holy Spirit… 5 they proclaimed God’s message in the Jewish synagogues. They also had John as their assistant.

Acts 13:13 -  Paul and his companions set sail from Paphos and came to Perga in Pamphylia. John, however, left them and went back to Jerusalem.

Acts 15:36–41 - 36 After some time had passed, Paul said to Barnabas, “Let’s go back and visit the brothers in every town where we have preached the message of the Lord and see how they’re doing.” 37 Barnabas wanted to take along John Mark. 38 But Paul did not think it appropriate to take along this man who had deserted them in Pamphylia and had not gone on with them to the work. 39 There was such a sharp disagreement that they parted company…

2 Timothy 4:11 - “Get Mark and bring him with you, for he is very useful to me for ministry.”

IMPORTANT: TO RECOGNIZE THE SEASON WE ARE IN AND RESPOND ACCORDINGLY.
EQUALLY IMPORTANT: TO RECOGNIZE THE SEASON OTHERS ARE IN AND RESPOND ACCORDINGLY.

THE PATH TO EMOTIONAL, SPIRITUAL & RELATIONAL RENEWAL IS CONTINUAL COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT.

THE LESS ENGAGED YOU ARE, THE MORE DISTANT & DISCOURAGED YOU WILL BE. THE MORE ENGAGED YOU ARE, THE MORE CONNECTED & ENCOURAGED YOU WILL BE.

THE MORE WE CARE ABOUT THE STRUGGLES OF OTHERS, THE MORE THEY WILL CARE ABOUT OUR STRUGGLES.

WE HAVE TO LEARN TO HANDLE  RELATIONAL BLUNDERS, BLINDSIDES, AND BACKHANDED COMMENTS FROM OTHERS THE SAME WAY GOD HANDLES THEM FROM US.

Philippians 2:3-4 -"In humility  consider others as more important  than yourselves. 4 Everyone should look out not only for his own interests,  but also for the interests of others."

STRUGGLES GROW OUTSIDE OF COMMUNITY — STRUGGLES SHRINK WITHIN COMMUNITY.
